There is no fixed itinerary at Hitamichi. Instead, you choose the experiences that speak to you, and we build your journey around them.

Morning — Hand roll tea with Mr. Komuro in the misty mountain fields of Daigo Afternoon — Visit Okabe Brewery in Hitachiota and taste sake with the family

Morning — Explore Oiwa Shrine with the priests, then hike to the summit Afternoon — Discover local food culture on a guided food tour

Multi-Day Journeys
Northern Ibaraki deserves more than a day. A two or three day journey allows you to move slowly, meet more people, and leave with a genuine understanding of this region and the traditions being kept alive here.
